I played it again but I used a glove instead of a mouse for the first half. still as much fun as I remember it being

I'm glad to hear you played it again and still enjoyed it.

I got all nine endings!

There was one area I couldn't figure out around ending nine.  It asks for a password.  I couldn't figure that one out and just clicked exit.  I was able to figure out the other password though.

Hi Gaming With Jay,

Thank you for playing my game and for the game play video.  I'm glad to hear you got all 9 endings.  I'm also glad you got the first password.  In regards to the second, it has to do with the background.  When you first get to that area, it just says a bunch of errors.  Then it suddenly changes and some of the errors are different.  Some of them have A's, B's, etc. that show up.  Each number of the password is the amount of A's, B's, etc. in each row.  So, for example, if there were 5 A's, that would be the first number in the password.

You're very welcome.

This was an amazing game and I had a lot of fun playing it. I managed to complete all 9 endings and I must say the story is great. I was encapsulated the whole way through because the story was so intriguing. Here`s my full YT playthrough. I`m glad it got suggested to me.

(15) THE CREATURES INDIE HORROR GAME | 9 ENDING HORROR GAME | WE FINDING FLIP... | 4K 60 FPS LONGPLAY - YouTube

Hey so i'm finally getting back to you with that gameplay, Thanks a ton I don't usually do things like this too often but I support who supports me and I can't be happier to play your game. I almost got all ending but I got stumped on the last one hope you like it!

Hi Krimzan_order,

Thank you for playing my game and for the gameplay video.  I'm glad to hear you got almost all the endings.

Hi Krimzan_order,

I tried to post this on your Youtube, but for some reason I couldn't.   In regards to the two passwords:

For the first one, it has to do with the hide and seek game. In each round, you find Flip the fish behind a certain door number. The door number order, that you find Flip behind, is the password.

For the second one, it has to do with the background. When you first get to the error scene it's one way, and then it changes so that some of the errors are different. Each number in the password, is the number of extra letters there are in each line. So, for instance, the first row has A's that just showed up. You'd count those and get the first number in the password.

I hope that makes sense. If not, let me know and I'll try and explain it better. Also, if you'd prefer I just say what each password is, let me know too.

Sorry for that you should be able to comment this now that would be awesome so that others can see as well and Thank you I can go back and make a seperate video on this now finishing it 100% The second one is still kinda confusing based on how I read it..

(1 edit)

Ok, great.  Thanks for letting me know.  I'll leave a comment on your Youtube so others can see it.  Also, you're welcome.  In regards to the second description for the second password, I'm sorry it's still confusing.

When you're in the Error scene if you look at the background, you'll see that some of the words aren't spelled correctly.  There are several  of them that have an A, B, C, etc. even though they shouldn't.  Also, the Errors with the changed letters aren't green.

So, for instance, in the photo there's areas in some of the Errors that are circled to show the additional A's in the first row.  Counting them, you'll find there's 7.  So, that's the first number in the password.  If you look under that row and at the Errors that have a letter changed to B, you'll find there's 3.  So, then that's the second number in the password.  You continue on with that until all the changed letters in the rows are counted and you'll have the full password for that area.

I hope that makes sense now.

Thanks for suggested me to play this game. Nice one and I got all endings :D

All ending play through here:

Overall a pretty interesting game I like some of the puzzles to unlock the endings I do wish there was a bit more plot to flesh out the creature/add to the world I did like the twist with flip the fish in one of the endings, it's a nice short game.

THANK YOU so much for recommending this game, its so cute and fun

Hello Discordianrose,

Thank you for playing my game and for the game play video.  Also, you're very welcome and I'm glad you had fun playing it.  Oh and, if you're interested, there's a sequel.  It currently has 3 endings and can be found at https://danielles-games.itch.io/the-persisting-adventure

We played the game and got it posted on our channel!

Hi xprincessmabel,

Thank you for playing my game and for the gameplay video.

Hi xprincessmabel,

Just wanted to mention that I made a sequel.  It's called The Persisting Adventure, currently has 3 endings, and is at https://danielles-games.itch.io/the-persisting-adventure

Thank you for letting me play your game and sorry for the technical problem. I love how much is in this game and wish I was smarter to figure out the puzzles and plot quicker, I hope matpat plays it I think he'd be really good at it.
(1 edit)

Hi Avecherien,

You're welcome and it's ok.  Stuff happens sometimes when things are being recorded.  Thank you for playing my game and for the game play video.  In regards to MatPat playing my game, I'd love it if he did too.  I even mentioned it in on the subreddits and on at least one of his videos, hoping he'd play it.  Nothing yet, though.

But yeah, I think it's definately the kind of game he'd like and do well at.  Especially with the amount of lore.

Edit: The technical glitch wasn't on your end.  Somehow the coding for the Full Screen mode, in the Main Menu, got erased or something.  It's why it wasn't working.  Sorry about that. I added it back in, though, and will be reuploading it soon.

Ok, so, the game is now reuploaded and the Full Screen toggle on the Main menu is now working.  I'm not sure how that happened, but thank you for bringing it to my attention so it could be fixed.

Hello Avecherien,

Just wanted to mention that I made a sequel.  It's called The Persisting Adventure, currently has 3 endings, and is at https://danielles-games.itch.io/the-persisting-adventure

Hey Danielle thanks for reaching out! Tried your game but didn't realize there's updates on it, might check on it another time. Game was a bit strange and abstract but interesting nonetheless!

Hi raz_vizla,

Thank you for playing my game and for the game play video.  I'm glad you thought it was interesting.

Hi raz_vizla,

Just wanted to mention that I made a sequel.  It's called The Persisting Adventure, currently has 3 endings, and is at https://danielles-games.itch.io/the-persisting-adventure

Loved the new update! I couldn't seem to collect all the switches though due to me never being able to go anywhere without me getting a game over (I explain the situation in the video)

, still this was really fun!

Hello The Gaming Tigerz,

Thank you for playing the updated version of my game.  I'm glad you had fun playing it.  As far as the Game Overs in the maze, I had gone and added some moving obstacles to the maze that, when you run into them, it's Game Over.

Hi,

I just went and checked my game and realized I never moved the Area and Collision shape so that they'd be on the moving Tile map, for the obstacle.  That's why you kept getting Game Over.  It's fixed now, though.  I also put a light on the obstacles, so they'd be easier to see.  Sorry about that.

It's ok, I had a blast playing it regardless!

Ok, great.  I'm glad to hear it.

Loved it! It was weird and fun at the same time. Got most if not all endings.

Hello Bunnii,

You're welcome and thank you for the compliment.

Wonderful.  Glad to hear it.

Hello, I played your game on my channel and I really enjoyed it! It's very different than what I usually play, but I had a good time. I think I got 6 out of 8 endings. Only thing I would suggest is adding a threat in the game. In one part I wanted the monster to get me, but it didn't do anything. And the part with the maze could've included some sort of monster hunting the character down or something. Just wanted to give my little input. I hope you keep on creating games in the future!

Hello JadetheCake,

Thank you for playing my game and for the game play video.  Also thank you for the feedback.  I'm working on some updates and I'll let you know when they're done.

Hello JadetheCake,

Just wanted to let you know that I've updated my game, just in case you were interested in revisiting it.

Hello JadetheCake,

Just wanted to mention that I made a sequel.  It's called The Persisting Adventure, currently has 3 endings, and is at https://danielles-games.itch.io/the-persisting-adventure

What a fun game. I had a ton of fun exploring the different endings here. The art style is not something I normally play, but yet it was quirky and drew me in. In a way it lulls you in, before it starts to get weirder. The calming music also starts to contribute to this. '

The best part is the multiple endings, that take a while to figure out what to do at times. There are 8 endings altogether and I only found 5. But there are probably more including the secret one, that I encourage others to find.

Overall it's an interesting game, and definitely show potential for being their first game.

Hello Lanosmire,

Just wanted to mention that I made a sequel.  It's called The Persisting Adventure, currently has 3 endings, and is at https://danielles-games.itch.io/the-persisting-adventure

I liked the overall story of the game, and how you end up learning more as you progress through the different endings.

With regards to improvement:

The segment where you are collecting food items while avoiding the stones can get tiresome considering how long it is. Either having this segment be shorter or having the playtester do different things along this path would make it a bit more interesting. One side note is that sometimes, even when not directly under the stone, you can still get flattened if you are too close to the side of the stone.

When playing hide and seek with the fish, having a randomized order would probably be a bit better. However, considering how many of the endings are accessed by doing the hide and seek game, I can see why it'd be good to keep the door order the same.

Similar to someone else's point, having the cloud creature do a quick jumpscare if it catches you would be good for some tension. I did run into a bug where it seems to have caught me, but I couldn't access the doors, and I had to "skip" the minigame. There also could've been another ending if the cloud creature gets you.

Overall, I enjoyed the game. Getting additional bits of the story through the multiple endings adds incentive to actually try and achieve multiple endings, and I was interested in the story as well. Thanks for letting me know about your game.

Hello Kraiten,

Thank you for playing my game and for the game play video.  I'm glad to hear you liked the story and enjoyed the game.  Also, thank you for your feedback.  I'm sorry you ran into the bug you did.  I'll look into that.  In regards to the Hide and Seek mini-game, because the door order coincides with the password, it wouldn't really make sense to randomize it.

I'm glad you liked the story.  Also, you're welcome.

Hello Kraiten,

Just wanted to let you know that I just finished updating my game.  I went and:

Added a fade in effect to several of the scenes

Made it so that there were two more cloud creatures and they're all interactable

Made it so that there's now a middle area, after the cloud creature section, and there's two paths to choose from.

Added a new ending

Added a new platformer section to the side scroller area

Added some obstacles in the maze

And

Added some Game Over screens

I think that's all.  Let me know what you think of the changes.  Also, let me know if you run into any glitches where you can't move ahead in the game or something.

Quite a unique style and a lot of room for improvements. This definitely is not for kids. I do wanted to add some points:

1. When choosing a door, maybe you can just try to randomize where the fish is instead of disabling other doors and lead you to the same door for each gameplay. Or maybe like add 1 trap door where it shows jump scare lol.

2. When collecting fish foods, disable out-of-bound access so you remain on the path...or at least on the screen.

3. Instead of instant flash when transitioning to a new scene, why not do a quick fade-in or fade-out just to give a more smooth and satisfying transitions when changing scenes.

4. Try to shorten the collection of orange food items because having it too long is quite tiring or at least make the stone-thing slower when going down. (I observed that you can only pass 1 stone before going to another.)

5. When being chased by the cloud-creature, try to add a quick jump scare or a game over scene to add more thrill on the player.

6. Remove or at least change the button command for Skip. I've had a few times (which is not in my recording) where I accidentally skipped a scene.

Over all, the concept and objective of the game is good and a lot of potential can be observed. Keep it up, Danielle! Thank you for having me as your playtester! I almost got sucked in lol.

Hello TheRabidGamer,

Thank you for playing my game and for the game play video.  I'm glad to hear you liked the concept and objective of the game.  Thank you for your feedback.  Also, I'm sorry you ran into a challenge in regards to the Skip button.

In regards to the Hide and Seek mini-game, though, because the door order coincides with the password, it wouldn't really make sense to randomize it.  I could have the other doors do something, though, when the buttons are pushed.

Added some Game Over screens

Oh yeah, I also went and changed the skip button to the Enter key.

I think that's all.  Let me know what you think of the changes.  Also, let me know if you run into any glitches where you can't move ahead in the game or something.

Not a bad game if we talk about the story, the horror, and the mystery. I loved playing it and multiple endings are a nice concept for players to search and be sucked into a game.

Hi Valnoom,

(Which I succeeded). If you're curious about my experience, then you can check out the video on my channel or watch the video I posted here! Thank You Danielle for inviting me to play your game!
