The Cryptanalyst: Case 1

The Cryptanalyst is a game that has to do with decoding items. This current iteration is the first case, which has to do with someone who's gone missing. You've been sent Journal entries, that have been, for some reason, encoded and that need to be decoded asap. When you download the zip file, for this game, you'll get the Introduction, rules, 21 encoded Journal entries, and the two endings.
Note: The 'For those who are new to decoding' file has been updated to include something, to make it easier to know what the password cipher is. Also, the way that the passwords decode aren't necessarily the way that they are entered. Capitals, spaces and underscores aren't needed.

Really cool thing you got going here. Playing on stream was actually a big help as my viewers were able to help me figure stuff out! I can tell a lot of effort went into making this. I think if you wanted to make it more accessible to people who aren't familiar with ciphers and decoding that providing some kind of hint or document as to where to start would be a great addition. Otherwise it felt very cool trying to decode the entries and learn the story.
Keep doing what your doing and I hope the people that love this stuff find you!

Thank you so much for playing my game and for the feedback. I'm glad you think it's really cool and were able to get help with figuring stuff out from your viewers. As far as adding some kind of document, for those who aren't familiar with ciphers, it's a definite possibility. I'd just need to figure out what to write.
